A fun, lighthearted question: what about your dogs never ceases to amaze you?
What is one thing that, no matter how often it happens, has you smiling and shaking your head?
For me, it would have to be:
Sam (sheltie)--the things he can pick up in his coat. He'll go out, come back, and have a branch caught in his coat. Or, leaves. Burrs. Flowers. It goes on and one.
Lexy (aussie mix)--she can always, always find water. She loves to swim--we'll go hiking in my pasture (so natually, she's off-leash) and she'll dissapear and come back soaking wet, even in a so-called drought. Luckily, I've found most of her creeks....and enjoyed them myself 
Holly (lab mix)--she can stare at the ground for 5+ minutes as if something truly interesting is happening there..right in front of her. Finally, I get curious, stop by, and...nothing. At least, nothing I can see! Either some pretty small bugs, or she enjoys watching grass grow.

Chicka: I had a mental image of that; very funny
Our dog Laila (Boxer) will sit at the glass door and lick it. It's funny because on the inside you can see her tongue against it and after a while she will start to butt it with her teeth. If you call her name she will stop mid-lick and stay with her head up near the door and her tongue on the glass, and slowly shift her eyes up to you. She makes us laugh every time.
She also will lay on the ground on her back and put her legs up in weird postitions, like one straight up in the air and another crossed over her chest, making her breathe like Darth Vader.
