ivory dress..black tux..blue bridesmaids..groomsmen?
so my wedding dress is ivory, not a very off white ivory and my FH pictures himself in a black tux for the wedding. my bridesmaids will be wearing blue dresses.. color exactly is "cobalt blue" which is sort of royal but is darker(between royal and navy) it is outdoors on a lake in july and I will be using mostly sunflowers. I want to keep it casual for the groomsmen since I think most of them are not used to being in suits and all that especially in florida heat so I have chosen khakis and just a nice button down shirt. the trouble is what color shirt?
I work in a clothing store so I am hoping to choose either white or black since we carry those colors in a very nice shirt. I am on the fence because I think white will be nice on the lake, but white next to my ivory makes me wonder? Black and khaki always looks great and wont take away from me being the one in "white" but black is hot?
no ties, since its outdoors I want to keep it rather casual.
I think the black with khaki will look very nice. I do understand you worrying about them getting too hot. Since you're in Florida with a July wedding I'm sure you'll have a tent or fans of some sort. At least you won't be asking them to wear a tux in the heat! I imagine your fiance will be shedding that jacket asap. 
I'd go with the black shirts. They won't be much warmer than the white, and it will look very classic and great in pictures! Adding a cobalt tie might be a nice touch too if ties are an option. Congrats and good luck!
