how do i get 32mil blue plastic pipe on to 22mil copper?
I have installed a new fresh water feed from the road to my house with a 32mill plastic pipe. I need to connect it to the water supply meter roadside and the 22mil copper going into the house. what fittings do I need?
it all depends on what type of blue plastic pipe you have as some fittings go over the pipe & some go in it!! In which case you will require a 32mm female adaptor & a 32mm male brass hex nipple. a brass crox nut & a brass ferrell to go over the copper tube. Don't forget to slide the crox nut on the copper tube first! before you fit the ferrell
Apply thread tape to one side of the brass hex nipple that goes into the female adaptor.
If you can before you head into the plumbing supply store to purchase the parts rquired, obtain a sample of the blue plastic pipe so you get the right fitting to make the joint!
There is nothing worse than coming back with fittings that are either too big or too small!
