Can i lose weight with this diet?
I am 5ft 5, I weigh around 10 stone and a UK dress size 10-12, I don't understand why I am not very slim because I have a healthy diet and I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, yet most of my friends don't exercise and eat unhealthy things like white bread, crisps, chocolate bars, cakes etc and very little or no fruit.here is a typical food day, (what I ate today)p.s at the gym I do cardio and weights.
Breakfast
2 weetabix with raisins and semi skimmed 1% fat milk and a glass of Robinsons
Snack
1 nectarine
Lunch
2 slices of wholemeal bread with flora low fat spread with a banana (banana sandwich) with Robinsons juice
Snack
1 petit filous yogurt
Dinner
Homemade chicken soup with carrots and onions and roast chicken (1 breast) with mashed potatoes, carrots and broccoli
Snack
7 strawberries and melon
IT ISNT DIFFICULT,,BUT IT ISNT EASY EITHER...IT TAKES YOUR STICKING TO A PLAN..AND NOT DEVIATING FROM IT.
okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:
Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water . If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken.
also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.
* you should lose about 10 lbs per month
