I want to make an iridescent mosaic frame around my bathroom mirror, and have no idea how, any help? Thanks!?
its quite easy, firstly if you can take mirror off and place on a board and mosiac around the edges it will be a lot less messy.
go to local tile shop and ask for the odd tile piles, usually out the back and there is thousands to choose from.and cheap
pick heaps of different colours, styles, textures and break them carefully with a hammer, l usually do this on concrete and wrap tile in a towel as the shards are really sharp.
then get tile adhesive scrape a bit on each tile and stick onto board. also learnt that every so often press the tiles lightly with another peice of board as this will keep them even and not have ones higher than others.
when you have finished grout the mosiac and smooth over the edges, clean grout off following instructions and it should look great
