Is it possible to clean whites after they have been mixed with color from other clothes?
I recently washed some clothes and the g/f forgot to tell me her red shirt was in there. All the whites got colored from the red shirt. Is there any way to reverse the process? I need to do almost a full load and not just one or two items.
There is hope --
1) If the clothing can accept hot temperature. I would throw it right back into the washing machine and wash it at the highest temperature. You'll be supposed at how much comes out! 
2) RIT (the dye manufacturer) also makes color remover. It is true that if you have not put the clothing through the drying cycle, it will be much easier to remove the dye.
Use bleach ONLY as a last result, i.e. try the color remover first. It's just really hard to get all of the bleach out of a product and it does actually eat away at the fabric. Plus, the bleach may have an unwanted reaction with the chemicals of the dye remover.
Good luck! And remember , don't dry the clothes until you are happy with the color!
