What does purple stand for in vietnam?
I bought purple vans today and my mom started being a bitch about it and said i had to return it just because it's purple. Wth is wrong with purple? My mom is old and from vietnam, she said purple stood for voodoo magic and evil so it got her pissed. Since i'm going to vietnam soon she said that if i brought those shoes to vietnam people wouldn't like it and they would beat me up... So i just want to know if she was actually right or does purple have a different meaning?
